Information you give us

• Contact and consultation forms. Name, email, phone number, and whatever details you share about your project when you reach out through our contact page.
• Pricing calculator. The services you select and, if you request a detailed estimate, the name and email you provide to receive it.
• Free website audit tool. The web address you submit to be audited. The audit itself requires no account and no email: your results are tied to a private link, not to your identity.

Information collected automatically

Like virtually every website, our server and hosting provider log standard technical data on each visit: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use this only for security, abuse prevention (for example, rate-limiting the audit tool), and understanding how the site is used in aggregate. We do not currently run third-party advertising trackers or sell any data to advertisers.

How we use your information

• To respond to your inquiry and follow up on a consultation request
• To prepare and send estimates, proposals, or project updates you've asked for
• To deliver the specific tool you used (an audit result, a pricing estimate)
• To keep the site secure and prevent abuse of free tools
• To improve our services based on how the site is actually used

We do not use your contact information for unsolicited marketing you didn't ask for, and we never sell your personal information.

How the audit tool works with your data

When you submit a website address to our free audit tool, we fetch that page's public content the same way a browser would, and may send technical findings (and, when available, a screenshot) to Google's PageSpeed Insights API and Anthropic's Claude API to generate the score and recommendations. We only audit the URL you provide, so please use this tool on sites you own or are authorized to evaluate. Audit results are cached temporarily to avoid re-scanning the same site repeatedly and are not linked to your identity.

Cookies

We use only the minimal, functional cookies needed to run the site (for example, keeping a form from double-submitting). We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If that changes, we'll update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

Who we share information with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this site and our business, for example email delivery, hosting, and (for paid engagements) payment processing. These providers only receive what they need to do their job and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time, by emailing hello@webbyco.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time and won't make it difficult.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for business owners and professionals. It is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to how we handle your information, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
